Family history research has revealed the journey of my family of Ducats from Musselburgh, in East Lothian, back through Edinburgh and further north into what is now the county of Angus. Sadly none of the people in these pictures are known, but some information from the photos correlates with data extracted from the public records office. Several of the photos were taken by photographers in Montrose, Brechin. Broughty Ferry, Dundee, Edinburgh/Leith, further north in Aberdeen and Peteread, Wick, Thurso and Kirkwall and south in England – Nottingham and also Ealing in London.
